RAW MILK DAIRY | FRESH EGGS | HOMEGROWN PORK, CHICKEN, BEEF

  • RAW MILK

As a member of our dairy herd share you are part owner our dairy herd. Your ownership entitles you to a share of the raw milk produced by the dairy herd while we handle the care of the herd and milking and bottling the product. As a herd share member our farm goal is to provide you with raw milk year round.

Our herd share is full for the 2024 season.

North Dakota legalized the sale of raw milk beginning in August 2023. This allows anyone to buy raw milk directly from our farm.

For those interested in raw milk without owning a share of the herd we have a milk subscription option for you. We currently have extra milk and are abIe to provide raw milk to milk subscription members on a seasonal basis.

If you are interested in more information regarding the availability of raw milk send us an email or text message.

  • EGGS

Our small flock of laying hens love to forage freely around our farm as mother nature intended for the best 3 of North Dakota’s seasons. Once temps reach freezing they snuggle themselves into their coup where they are fed and watered.

Contact our farm if you are interested in farm fresh, nutrient dense eggs.

  • MEAT

We finish a limited number of beef yearly.

We have 2 black angus/jersey beef to finish for 2025.

We finish a limited number of pigs on pasture and barley/oats soaked in water, whey, or milk during the summer months. The breeds we purchase vary. For 2024 we have 3 pasture raised hogs available. They will be processed and ready for pick up in October. Contact us now for your half or full pork so you can pick the cuts you want. Thank you to those who purchased our pork in 2024.

We have 25 whole cornish cross meat birds processed and ready for pick up in the fall of 2024.

Reserve meat for your freezer using the button below.

  • Tallow Products

We like to honor our animals by using all the products they provide us. One way we do this is by creating soap and balms.

Some of our soap is made using buttermilk and tallow. Some is made using lard. My daughter uses her goats milk to make goat milk soap.

Our tallow balm is made with tallow from our processed beef and olive oil is added for smoothness.

Hello!

I am Monica. Wife to Bill; mom to Cooper and Keylie.

In 2014, I set out on a journey to provide our family with food raised and prepared by our hands.

I started with a garden and preserving the harvest. Next, Bill told me I could get 5 laying hens (he was unaware of chicken math so 5 chickens quickly turned to 15!). Then I added 2 dairy cows for milk and meat. Why not butcher and process our own animals too?! Being we are processing ourselves, I added feeder pigs to the mix. Bill wonders if the madness will ever cease!

Most recently, I have discovered the importance of good soil and have begun the journey of regenerating our land so it is able to support our livestock and our family to its fullest potential.

Supporting our health with REAL food, the better our health became. The more I learn, the more I want to share with others.

I look forward to connecting with you and encouraging you on your journey to better health for yourself, your family, and your land at whatever stage you are entering. This is a marathon not a sprint!

Dairy Herdshares

Our herd is a mix of jersey cattle: 2 mid-size and 7 standard jersey cows, 1 miniature guernsey/miniature jersey cross cow, and 2 miniature bulls. Their diet consists of grass and hay. At milking time, the girls are feed a ration of ground barley/oats mix, black oil sunflower seeds, and loose mineral. We feed for maintenance of our herd and quality of milk, not quantity of milk.

We are sold out of our herd share subscription but have limited monthly milk subscriptions available as well as flex member subscriptions.
